PCG Grading Submissions

HOKO sends cards to Premier Card Grading (PCG) in group submissions from Victoria. PCG grades in Australia, so your cards never leave the country. You pay per card. We check your cards in, send them to PCG insured, and post them back to you graded.

How it works

  1. Email your card list to support@hokocollectables.com — each card, its value and the tier you want. We reply within 1–2 business days to confirm.
  2. Buy one PCG Grading Submission per card, at the tier we confirmed.
  3. Pack and post your cards to HOKO (below).
  4. We photograph every card front and back on arrival and email you the photos.
  5. Your cards go to PCG in the next HOKO group submission.
  6. When they come back we invoice return postage, then post them to you by Express Post with signature on delivery.

Every PCG slab comes with four sub-grades (centering, corners, edges, surface) and a metal label. Prices include shipping to PCG. Return postage is invoiced when your cards come back.

Packing and posting

  • Each card in a penny sleeve, then a semi-rigid card saver. No top loaders, tape or screw-down holders.
  • Card savers between two pieces of cardboard, in a padded bag or small box.
  • Put a printed copy of your card list in the parcel.
  • Post to: HOKO Collectables, Parcel Locker 70 (1014440262), 251 Point Nepean Rd, Dromana VIC 3936.
  • Use tracked post with insurance. Cards are your responsibility until we receive them.

Declared value

  • Declare what the card would sell for today, raw, in Australian dollars.
  • Pick the tier whose insurance covers what the card will be worth graded.
  • Our liability for a card is capped at the value you declared.

Turnaround

PCG's turnaround counts business days from when PCG receives the submission. Add transit to PCG and back, and the time to fill a group submission. These are PCG's figures and PCG changes them. We don't refund for delays at PCG or in transit.

Terms

  • HOKO is not PCG. PCG decides every grade.
  • No grade is guaranteed or predicted. Fees aren't refunded because of the grade.
  • Our liability for any card is capped at its declared value.
  • You can cancel for a full refund until the group submission is sent to PCG.
  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren't affected.
